As a therapist, I believe healing begins with acceptance — acceptance of ourselves, our stories, and the unique journeys that have shaped who we are. My work is grounded in mindfulness, self-compassion, and trauma-informed care, inviting you to slow down, notice your inner world with kindness, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges. Therapy is not about rewriting or forgetting the past, but about understanding and integrating it — making sense of your experiences in ways that bring new insight, healing and growth. From this place of awareness and compassion, new possibilities can emerge: stronger boundaries, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of peace and freedom in your daily life.

Welcome — I’m Glad You’re Here

Linda Cunningham — Interior Freedom Psychotherapy

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and communities from diverse cultural backgrounds across both clinical and non-clinical settings.

These experiences have deepened my appreciation and respect for the dignity, wisdom, and unique strengths of each person, as well as the vital role that family and community play in overall well-being.

My Catholic faith informs the way I walk beside others with openness, respect and humility, while honoring the beliefs and values of clients from all faiths, traditions and backgrounds.

Away from my professional work, I’m a mother, a wife, and a dedicated runner. I’ve completed 15 marathons and many more half marathons and other road races, and am grateful for every step along the way. I also love gardening, being outdoors, reading and spending time with my crazy dog and three curious cats. These simple joys remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and wonder in daily life – all of which I believe enrich the therapeutic journey.
